| Gevonden op internet 30-7-2002 | These are awesome bikes of an era bygone. Not all are exactly the same. They all have most of the following: Makers Marquee, a dynamo headlight, bicycle pump, Swiss license plate, Swiss Bicycle bell. They have a front hand brake and rear peddle brakes. They are made by various manufacturers. Some part may be newer than the rest of the bike as the Swiss tend to use there equipment for decades maintaining it flawlessly and adding occaissional modernizations. We believe the actual dates of manufacture vary from 1905-1935. They are all in basic working order. |

Army Bike
This bicycle was built in Switzerland in 1940. It's equipped with a great collection of bags and accessories. The frame bag was made to carry documents and so is sealed and sewn to last a lifetime. The bell, rear wheel lock, frame pump and other bags are also indestructible. It has a front wheel mounted generator that is wired through the rear fender to the tailight. Although it weighs in at 60 lbs., it rides lighter than you might expect. This basic style/spec was first produced in 1905. |
